Labradorite is a fascinating stone by its visual aspect. It is a magnificent stone with a play of colors, most often blue or green, with a metallic luster which varies according to the angle from which one observes the stone. This phenomenon, which is called adularescence, is due to the disposition of its internal layers and is also present in Moonstone.
